Spiritual Direction is a relationship between two people wherein the director seeks to hold a contemplative space for the directee in order to help the directee listen to the Divine (in all its manifold definitions), discern inner movements, and grow in deeper internal freedom.  The directee’s needs and desires always direct the session.  

One does not have to practice a certain religious tradition to be in spiritual direction.  All that is required is a desire to explore the sacredness and challenges of your own life in the context of spirit.  

Sessions are usually held once per month for one hour.  The relationship can be continued or terminated at any time at the discretion of the directee but generally the fruits of the relationship are more acutely noticed over longer periods of time.  Our conversations are held in strict confidentiality and I commit to all of the guidelines of Spiritual Directors International's Guidelines for Ethical Conduct. I have received my certification from St. John's School of Theology and Seminary and am a graduate of the Living School for Action and Contemplation.
